New Push to Increase Enrollment in AP Classes Statewide in Colorado

Alejandra Terraza is getting ready to start her first year at the University of Denver on a full-ride scholarship.
“[It’s a] whole new adventure and journey for me that I’m looking forward to because from then on, it’s an investment into what I will be doing for the rest of my life,” she said.
DU was a school she thought she didn’t have a chance at two years ago, before supportive teachers at Arvada High convinced her to take Advanced Placement courses.
