Colorado Springs school named one of the healthiest in state

Sand Creek Elementary has been recognized as a 2016 Healthy School Champion and has won the $1,000 Bronze Award for its efforts. As one of 43 schools in the state recognized as a healthy school champion, Sand Creek’s work was honored at a summit held last week in Denver.
