AP for All Summer Institute

Join educators across the state and world July 17th – 20th for CEI’s 12th annual College Board-certified APSI. Each year, CEI’s APSI brings expert presenters to work with teachers to deepen their content knowledge in AP subjects and identify strategies to effectively reach diverse student populations, including those who might not otherwise consider enrolling in AP classes, who are learning English, or living in poverty. Consultants guide attendees through College Board resources such as course outlines, content-related handouts, scoring guidelines, and student samples, and provide teachers with tools and strategies to help all students succeed in AP.

The 2023 APSI will provide instruction for teachers from around the country and the globe. Institute presenters will work with teachers to develop deeper content knowledge in their AP subjects, and identify strategies to effectively reach diverse student populations – students who might not otherwise consider enrolling in AP classes.

CEI will host this highly rated College Board-endorsed professional development event, where consultants will guide attendees through College Board course outlines, content-related handouts, scoring guidelines, student samples, and so much more.

Join other AP educators from across the nation and around the world to:

  • Work with highly rated College Board consultants to develop deeper content knowledge in AP subjects.
  • Get effective instructional strategies to reach diverse student populations from a variety of backgrounds, including those less academically prepared than the traditional AP student.
  • Learn from innovative educators how to develop AP programs that provide equitable access to all interested students.
  • Earn certificates of completion.

“I think this was an amazing opportunity. I loved the Zoom nature of it. It made the online format relevant to classrooms (almost all of my classwork lessons are technological in some way), and it made connecting with teachers I wouldn’t normally meet because of distance possible. If all APSI’s were like this, I’d come to one every year without fail just for the opportunity to connect and meet other teachers and have discussions with passionate people about making education better.”   – 2020 Virtual APSI Participant
