Webinar – AI in Colorado Education: Collaborating for Action

Join Colorado Education Initiative (CEI) and the AI Education Project (aiEDU) on on Wednesday, Sept. 27 from 4–5 p.m. MT for our second ‘AI in Colorado Education: Collaborating for Action’ webinar. This new event will explore how teachers across the country are using AI tools for their work and in the classroom, and how this transformational technology can support learning for students in all grade levels.

This webinar continues conversations from our previous events focused on the growing use of AI in education and offers a current perspective on the state of this topic, both within Colorado and on a national scale.

Webinar Highlights:

• We are excited to welcome four panelists who will share insights on AI usage, including how it can help reduce teacher workload and its potential impact on teacher retention, and discuss opportunities for AI to support learners both in and out of the classroom.

Meet the Panelists:

• Following the discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A with the panelists.
  
• Patty Quiñones, Senior Partner at CEI, will share next steps in creating an action agenda for AI in Colorado education and will discuss new engagement opportunities, including the launch of a statewide steering committee and taskforce groups. These groups will collaborate to develop action steps for this work and guidelines for policy, curriculum, standards, teacher tools and integration, and research.

District superintendents, educators, nonprofit executives, community stakeholders, the business and tech community, and those engaged in postsecondary education are invited to join this event to learn from and with peers across the state about what’s next for AI in Colorado education.

Through this new partnership, CEI and aiEDU hope to create opportunities throughout Colorado to empower learners, educators, industry, and decision-makers by fostering AI literacy and proficiency.
