SPS Correlation Tool (6-12)

Colorado’s Student Perception Survey focuses on student learning, student-centered environment, classroom community, and classroom management. Each of these categories include questions that measure teacher practice and provide an overall picture of educator effectiveness.

This tool allows educators to explore the relationship among the survey items on Colorado’s Student Perception Survey (SPS). By hovering over an item, the tool shows the other three survey items to which it most strongly correlates. This helps educators understand how the survey items relate to each other, and how instructional practices can have an impact on several items within the survey.
