More local low-income high school students who take International Baccalaureate or Advanced Placement classes could have the exam fees paid for next spring thanks to a federal grant recently awarded to the Colorado Department of Education.
CDE was awarded $455,128 to help defray the cost of low-income students taking the college credit exams as part of the nationwide effort to increase college and career readiness for underserved students.
